150. Risk assessment

Marrakesh

While packing up, Roman went off to the beach with his Italian friend Furio. We met Agnese, Luca and two children, Furio and Irene just as we were leaving Moulay Bousselham, our first campground in Morocco and they arrived last night here in Casablanca. They are a fountain of information on Morocco and travelling a similar route so we are meeting again.

Risk assessment
Where are they?
After checking out we parked outside the campground and Audrey shot off to tell Roman that we were leaving, at least, that is what I thought. Ten minutes later after sorting travel food I wandered down the beach and found Furio, Roman & Audrey ensconced in full rock-pool mode. I think it took another ten minutes to pry the limpets off the beach / rocks with a soaked Roman and full protest from both.

Easy run down to Marrakesh though we were daunted by a load of hay that had obviously shifted en route. We were saved the risk of passing as he pulled into the same aire as us as we needed to empty tanks into the Giantavan (one of the benefits of towing a bathroom behind the Disco).

Later in the trip, for our entertainment, a local destroyed his car, a wholly unnecessary outcome for his lack of concentration - see video below.
