425. Deviants

Gressoney-Saint-Jean, Aosta Valley, Northern Italy

Into the mountains camp
Children - heard, but not seen, all morning
Big drive today, got away before midday, something of a record for us, helped by only having a fly awning not an annex. The camp sports an excellent Fooseball table so had to do the pack without children. I haven't wound the corner jacks us for ages as that is something Fyfe does. Fyfe did sprint over to back the car onto the Giantavan, usually first try.

Cruised along all day, a big drive on course to arrive at seven in the evening, the latest one is allowed by the rules. At about six I noticed the map wasn't moving on the GPS as, now obviously, the programme had crashed. Added an hour to the trip which was very tedious. The camp manager gave us a warm welcome (when we arrived) which was appreciated.

  1. I think you get great views of Monta Rose from Gressoney.
