It is strange arriving in the dark as you are never sure exactly what you are going to wake up to. We woke up to a lovely, huge, deserted campground with a beautiful river flowing behind us all set in farming fields.
After a big days driving it is nice to have a lay day, particularly for me, as I imbibe horrible monster energy cans to stay awake when driving and then go to bed with my heart racing and sleeping lightly meaning that I repeat the process the next day - absolutely hopeless I am.
