Day 0 - Farewell Spit

Thriftwood Farm

Tony and Tim, the impaling
Lining up
Jago and Lucy generously offered for us to have a farewell event at their site where we are staying, Thriftwood Farm.  The boys (a bunch of Holyport Dad's) have had a couple of very successful spit roasts at Ed's the machinery being a Heath-Robinson affair,  ably cobbled together by Tim and Tony with two beautiful lambs by Rooks.

Lucy and Jago were tremendous thank you running around and doing lots. I too was running around and completely failed to take photos while everyone was here.

We cooked for about five hours
People starting to arrive
It was a wonderful afternoon with a great crowd managing to consume the two lamb in the process.
