Formalities and Wroxham
Got up to an email from Pickfords stating that I had not completed all the documentation. Luckily I was showered and dressed when there was a banging on the caravan and a grumpy man who is the caretaker said that there was a heap of Amazon parcels for us down at The Red Mill. I know this name and building thanks to Paul Manson's superb App WikiLocal and have been using it. I was wondering as Amazon said delivered and nobody here knew anything about it. True to his word there was a pile at the front door of the Red Mill - owners away.

Anyway, I dragged myself through the customs documentation and completed it all while it poured outside. Fitted my new battery charger and delighted with its operation. The children downloaded £10 of Kindle books that lasted about forty minutes so late afternoon we headed for Wroxham which we wanted to visit having found Buffer Stop Books online with TomTom showing that we would arrive with fifteen minutes to spare. Wasted five minutes at the wrong station and arrived to find them locking up! We pleaded our case and had a delightful time, in the volunteer run, library like book shop and left groaning with books having spent the princely sum of £20 - all delighted, including the lady at the shop. We are returning to ride the nine mile miniature railway tomorrow.
We then and investigated boat hire at Broads Tours and looking to do that tomorrow also.
Did a bit of shopping at Wroxham then home for dinner.

The Adventure begins (with pickford's and admin !) Sounds like you're off already giving the kids an experience with chain ferrys eels and sail less red windmills 😁
ReplyDeleteThanks to you both!
