29. South, Finally (South East actually)

La Forêt-Fouesnant, Finistère

Surprising how dark it is in the mornings, we really need to get south. Temperatures still OK at 14–17ºC. Decided it was time to head southish, moving on to Tim's next circle on the Ed's map.  Not exactly galloping south, but it's a start.

After we were packed we had a run around on the beach as Jac was yet to see it and it was beckoning.  Roman and Audrey stripped off and had a great splash around as by now they were wet anyway. It is amazing how age eradicates the desire to do the same.

On the way south we stopped at Plogonnec Intermache Super for the attached laundrette (described previously) and ate lunch in the Giantavan while the machines did their magic.  This is a definite advantage of taking ones house with you.

Arriving at Manoir de Penn Ar Ster things were a little spoilt by reception insisting that we were six adults in conflict with the online booking where I had correctly entered the children's ages, plus she wanted five Euro for a single device wifi.  After a discussion I managed to solve the disagreement by using the age old strategy that always seems to work when I recognise that the lady's not for turning - I caved.  She however had another ace and said La machine à cartes est retirée pour la saison which I think means Vous êtes un schmuck et je ne suis pas enclin à payer de l'impôt sur cette transaction afin que vous puissiez aller en ville maintenant et obtenir de l'argent pour moi à la place.  So off I went.

After dinner we watched some Blackadder.  Thought Iris was going to fall off her seat she was laughing so much.
