56. Uncool math

SALLES - FRANCE

Homework was the order of the day, that and showers, and a tidy up as Jacqueline returns tomorrow and the need to be shipshape is pressing. Children had a good crack at the maths though hoodwinked me by going onto a site called coolmath which turned out to be a games site.  Little heed was taken of dire warnings that if they wasted the afternoon playing games the site would be blocked - the site is now blocked on their school login, if they want to play coolmath it will be in their allocated time - so there!

On advice from Victoria we are now parroting our times tables as it has proven excruciating assisting them with their maths when they are stumped for lack of knowing such.  Getting some traction but it is only day two.

Jacqueline spends the day traveling by Eurostar then TGV to Bordeaux tomorrow, arriving about six. It is a bit over an hour from here to the station so I will arrange something for us to visit prior, maybe the Musée d’Aquitaine
