283. Sea Wall

Annecy - The French Alps

Beautiful day so biked the eight kilometres into Annecy today with the three children that I have. Again hot so lots of cajoling on though this time we had our togs on so ready for the swim which didn't eventuate till we got back to camp, late afternoon.

Iris with Fyfe following
First stop at a Ski Nautique water ski facility
Private Beach
We passed a few good spots on the way but I was keen to reach the head of the lake. Once we were within a couple of kilometres of Annecy the lake shore had a metre high concrete wall however looking across the town at the very top we could see hundreds at a beach so decided that we would join them. Discovered that it was a private beach so paid the €9 family pass and went in to discover a one metre high sea wall with hundreds lying around on the concrete and grass, the same as one could anywhere else - strange. The weather is so lovely here we don't bother with warm tops, towels etc. Makes things very simple. Romans sun glasses didn't complete the trip which is frustrating.
Fyfe is still pleased with his downhill bike.
Rolls ok with 450 kpa in the tyres
Another fourth gear day for Roman
