Innsbruck
Visit to the Swarovski Kristallwelten (Crystal Worlds), just down the road was today's focus as a fact-finding trip for our next visit with the AP, in the Disco. The day was slightly cooler at twenty six degrees so we coerced and bludgeoned the ingrates onto their bikes for our first outing since arriving here. It is only a four and a half kilometre ride but we managed to suffer it, including a quick trip to the supermarket prior. Entry is free with a ticket if you are only going to the shops so this is what we did as our next visit will be forty nine euros entry. You bike past the factory first and it is massive, about six hundred metres long and very prosperous looking. The museum bit that we could get into was interesting with beautiful tiaras, and things to adorn ladies which begs the question as to why the two shops were loaded with tat? Fyfe photographed some of it for us. The small optics section had impressive binoculars and scopes but that was about it for me, I staggered out leaving them to it and lay in the sun on a park bench.
This tap gushed deliciously cold water so we refilled our drink bottles. |

Umm, tat |
Does the thirteen thousand euro price of these things mean that they are desirable? |

ReplyDeleteThe logistics of getting someone onto the seesaw / swing once the first person is on looks a bit problematic to me. Unless you always start with the lightest person first.
Certainly was. A great challenge for the kids.
