230. A nod to Adam Smith

Avignon

Teasel made a handy painting platform
Removing screws from the old floor
Had the brainwave this morning of swapping computer play time for dish washing and drying. Roman elected to wash and slaved away, standing on the caravan steps for about an hour for his half hour of computer time. Now that they get no computer time automatically per day the value of computer time is escalated.

Another day focused on working on the front locker today. Painted the new beams, two faces at a time then after they were touch dry painted the other two faces. Kept the beams in the awning overnight to protect them from dew.
Old beams G-Clamped in place
Lovely new stuff

Cut the plywood and shaped it to fit. Tomorrow I will purchase polyurethane so that I can paint it prior to installing as most of the moisture will come from underneath when towing on rainy days.

Now that we are on our own again the children are refocusing on their homework with lots of Mathsbuddy done in the last couple of days by all four children.

Concentration
The workshop
Introduced the children to show poker tonight betting clothes pegs. Great fun takes me back to camping holidays with the Cooper family when we were children.

  1. Quite a workshop! Will the weight of the front of the locker be taken on the stay-bar?

Love the photo of the concentration
